But some compute the time differently, reckoning the correct time of the Babylonian captivity from the eleventh year of the reign of Zedekiah (Sedechie). Here begins the Fifth Age of the World, extending from the time when the Jews went into captivity at Babylon, and enduring to the Birth of Christ-a period of 590 years.
